SF2400 SF2400 is an aramid fibre based sheet sealing material bound with a high quality nitrile rubber binder.
SF2400 complies with the requirements of the BS 7531 Grade 'Y' specification.
Suitable for use in applications involving hot and cold water. steam, oils, fuels, gases and a wide range of general chemicals.
Maximum recommended temperature..........350 deg 'C'.
Maximum recommended pressure................100 bar
These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used simultaneously and may not apply at all thicknesses.
SF2500 SF2500 is an acid resistant calendered sheet sealing material.
SF2500 is specially recommended for use in applications where mineral acids have to be sealed. It gives excellent performance in concentrated sulphuric and hydrochloric acids and can be used to seal nitric acid at concentrations up to 50% and temperatures up to 65 deg 'C'. SF2500 can also be used to seal a wide range of chemicals including oils, fuels, solvents, alkalis, water and steam.
Maximum recommended temperature...........200 deg 'C'.
Maximum recommended pressure..................60 bar.
These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used simultaneously and may not apply at all thicknesses.
SF2800 SF2800 is an aramid fibre based sheet sealing material bound with a high quality nitrile rubber.
SF2800 complies with the requirements of the BS 7531 Grade 'Y' specification.
Suitable for use across a broad spectrum of industrial applications involving steam (including super-heated steam), water, oils, solvents, fuels, gases, general chemicals, dilute acids and alkalis.
Maximum recommended temperature.............400 deg 'C'.
Maximum recommended pressure...................120 bar.
These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used simultaneously and may not apply at all thicknesses.
SF3300 SF3300 is a superior performance aramid/glass fibre sheet sealing material bound with a high quality nitrile rubber.
SF3300 complies with the requirements of the BS 7531 Grade 'X' specification.
Developed for general industrial applications where an asbestos free sheet is desirable, SF3300 is designed to be used at the same thickness as the CAF material it replaces.
Maximum recommended temperature..............440 deg 'C'.
Maximum recommended pressure....................140 bar.
These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used simultaneously and may not apply at all thicknesses.

PLEASE NOTE:

The maximum temperature and pressure do not necessarily apply at the same time and are dependant on gasket thickness and flange arrangement. If in doubt call.

The operating temperature for non-asbestos sheet materials is related to the thickness of material selected, thinner materials offer better temperature and pressure properties.
