| NOVUS GRAFTEC | Novus
Graftec is a compressed graphite sheet material reinforced with aramid
fibre. The material contains a high percentage of graphite with a low
binder content and is produced under high load which ensures the
material has low gas leakage. Max short term service temperature..........450 deg 'C' Max continuous service temperature........300 deg 'C' Max operating temperature for steam......280 deg 'C' |
Characteristics
& Approvals: 1. Good steam resistance. 2. Excellent creep resistance. 3. Very low gas permeability. 4. High resistance to oils, fuels, hydrocarbons & refrigerants. 5. Excellent for handling and cutting. 6. Excellent conformability. Complies with the requirements of BS 7531 Grade 'X'. A universal grade material suitable for many industrial applications. |
PLEASE NOTE:
The operating temperature for non-asbestos sheet materials is related to the thickness of material selected, thinner materials offer better temperature and pressure properties.
