Green Service................Recommended for use in high temperature sealing applications. Temperature...... > 1000 deg 'C'. Compressibility....24% ASTM F36/A. Suitable for high thermal and mechanical loads such as exhaust gaskets in petrol and diesel engines. Also for other flange joints at high temperatures and at low inner pressures. Micaseal 2000 is manufactured by laminating two layers of mica-sheet around a reinforcing steel insert. The steel has tangs which binds the Mica mechanically to the steel and therefore does not contain any adhesive. |

The maximum temperature and pressure do not necessarily apply at the same time and are dependant on gasket thickness and flange arrangement. If in doubt call.
The operating temperature for non-asbestos sheet materials is related to the thickness of material selected, thinner materials offer better temperature and pressure properties.
