PTFE coated glass cloth heat-sealing tape (often incorrectly referred to as Teflon™ tape) combines the properties of PTFE with the mechanical strength of glass cloth. It offers excellent heat and chemical resistance, as well as superior non-stick performance. Available in plain, self-adhesive, and anti-static options, this product is widely used for heat sealing applications. We can also supply PTFE coated glass cloth as gaskets or strips, cut to your required width.
PTFE-coated glass cloth is commonly used as release tape on heat-sealing bars and wires, heat platens and heat curtains, release fabric for hot-plate welding, shrink-wrap machines, blister and vacuum packs, release agents in moulds, chute and hopper linings, baking-tray linings, sewn sleeves, and flexible connections.
