Henry Gallacher, part of the PAR Group, offers advanced water jet cutting services from our North East facility. As established stockists and converters of rubber, plastic and insulation materials, we combine decades of industry expertise with cutting-edge precision engineering technology.
Our in-house water jet cutting capabilities use high-pressure water or water mixed with abrasive media to precision-cut a comprehensive range of materials to tolerances as tight as 0.1mm. This includes engineering plastics, rubbers, polyurethanes, sponges, foams, insulation boards, industrial laminates, metals, and glass-reinforced plastics from our extensive stock range.
Why Choose Water Jet Cutting?
Water jet cutting technology delivers exceptional results across industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and heavy industrial applications. The high-pressure water process provides a cleaner finish when cutting softer materials, while harder substrates, such as glass-reinforced plastics and composites, remain unaffected by the heat generated by conventional machining methods.
Our water jet cutting facilities complement our comprehensive machining capabilities, including CNC machining, cutting, routing, turning, drilling and milling, enabling us to handle complete projects from design through to finished components.
Fast Turnaround & Expert Engineering
With decades of industry knowledge and a highly experienced engineering team, Henry Gallacher delivers quick turnaround times without compromising on quality. Using the latest CAD technology, we manufacture components to exact specifications for both small-batch and large-scale production.
We can provide quotations from existing samples or technical drawings. For production orders, we work with customer CAD files; where CAD files aren't available, our team can create new files from unworn samples or dimensional drawings. We also offer site visits throughout the North East to capture the necessary specifications on-site.
Applications
Our water jet cutting service produces precision profiles from soft foams through to the hardest industrial plastics, laminates and metals. We manufacture OEM parts and bespoke components for food processing, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, industrial machinery, and specialist engineering applications.
