Machine guards play a crucial role in ensuring hygiene and protecting personnel. They are essential components on production lines to meet health and safety standards. Typically crafted from clear PETG or polycarbonate, these guards provide excellent impact resistance and transparency for safe equipment operation. Our PETG guards meet food contact approvals, and we also supply clear PVC guards for enhanced chemical resistance.
Henry Gallacher produces machine guards in-house, utilising advanced fabrication techniques including forming, bending, welding, bonding, and polishing. We accommodate both straightforward and intricate designs, working from your samples or technical drawings. Should you lack these, we offer site visits to capture all necessary specifications.
Common uses include doors, covers, tunnels, boxes, chutes, panels, and sight glass covers.
Note: Fabricated guards will display visible welds where sections are joined due to the manufacturing process. Our machine guards carry Henry Gallacher branding by default. Please specify in writing if you require unbranded products when making your enquiry.
