Metal Detectable PTFE Rod

Metal detectable PTFE rod is enhanced with fine additives that enable detection by most metal detection systems. It maintains the essential properties of conventional PTFE, making it ideal for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. This rod offers excellent thermal stability, a very low friction coefficient, and strong resistance to chemical and corrosion damage. While it exhibits good electrical insulation characteristics, bonding can be challenging.

Typical Uses

Ideal for rollers, scrolls, sliding bearings, gaskets, seals, and washers.
