PTFE Rod

PTFE rod is renowned for its outstanding chemical resistance and ability to perform reliably across a wide temperature range. Its low friction coefficient makes it ideal for applications involving food contact. The material also offers excellent thermal stability and electrical insulation, though it is not suited for wear-intensive applications and can be challenging to bond.

Applications

Commonly used in slide bearings, electrical insulators, and rollers.

Key Features

Operates between -200°C and +260°C.
Exceptional sliding and anti-adhesive characteristics.
Highly resistant to chemicals and UV exposure.
Maintains integrity under extreme temperatures.
Approved for food contact applications.

Standards

Meets EC No. 1953/2004 and EC No. 10/2011 regulations for plastics in contact with food.
Compliant with FDA food safety standards 21 CFR 177.1550 and 21 CFR 175.300.
UL94 V-0 flammability rating ensures self-extinguishing properties.
WRAS approved for water use up to 85°C.
