Nylon 66 sheet
is engineered to provide enhanced mechanical strength, stiffness, and superior resistance to heat and wear compared to nylon 6. It also delivers improved creep resistance, though with a slightly reduced impact strength, and is certified for food contact applications.
Advantages of Nylon 66 over Nylon 6 extruded:
Higher temperature tolerance, reduced impact strength, and better mechanical damping. It also offers greater wear resistance and is simpler to machine.
Applications
Ideal for components such as rollers, gears, friction strips, bushes, spindle nuts, piston guides, castors, impact plates, friction bearings, conveyor screws, cam discs, rope pulleys, plug parts, damping plates, and bearings.
