First developed in 1886, Klinger® materials are available in a variety of grades to suit a wide range of applications and environments, and most grades comply with BS7531 standards. While commonly used in industries such as aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, power generation, oil, and gas, their versatile properties make them ideal for sealing applications across nearly any sector or circumstance.

Our CNC profile cutting facilities allow us to transform any sheeting material into standard flange gaskets, custom washers and seals, or specialized shapes and profiles to meet your specific requirements.

Compressed Fibre Klinger® Gasket Materials

KLINGERsil C4324

This is our most cost-effective grade, produced from a blend of aramid, carbon, and glass fibres. An NBR rubber binder holds the fibres together. It is WRAS approved for use with potable water. Temperature range of up to +180°C continuous, +350°C maximum. Max. pressure of 50 bar.

KLINGERsil C4400

C4400 is made from aramid fibres and a nitrile rubber binder, resulting in a versatile sealing material widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries. It offers strong resistance to oils, fuels, and hydrocarbons. Temperature range of up to +200°C continuous, +400°C maximum. Max. pressure of 100 bar.

Statite, made from impregnated paper, is commonly used in the automotive industry for low bolt load applications because of its resistance to oils and fuels. KLINGER Graphite SLS-AS

Made from pure exfoliated graphite with a stainless steel foil insert bonded by adhesive, this material offers enhanced load-bearing capacity and easier handling while retaining resistance to steam and most chemical media. Temperature range of up to +460°C continuous. Max pressure of 140 bar.

This premium-grade PTFE gasket material is filled with silicon carbide for enhanced durability.
