Nylon 6 Rod - Cast Natural

Cast natural Nylon 6 rod is a widely used engineering plastic, prized for its straightforward machinability. It offers a combination of high strength, rigidity and hardness, alongside excellent resistance to creep and wear. This material also performs well under heat ageing, provides electrical insulation, and withstands many oils, chemicals, fuels and cleaning agents. Below is our standard rod stock; we also supply large sheets, tubes, and custom shapes on request.

Typical Uses

Ideal for rollers, wheels, gears, scrapers, impact plates and components subject to wear.

Main Benefits

Operating temperature range: -40°C to +110°C.
Strong, stiff and hard material properties.
Good impact and wear resistance.
Resistant to various chemicals and oils.
Easy to machine.
