The HIBC/B heated insulation jackets are crafted from water-resistant, Teflon™ coated polyester and feature a spiral-wound silicone resistance element. Designed for easy installation, they include quick-release adjustable buckles and cover all four sides of the IBC. The jacket has two independent heating circuits for the upper and lower sections, each with its own thermostat, allowing the upper circuit to be switched off when the container level falls below the halfway point. Insulated lids can be supplied separately if required.
Ideal for heating liquid materials stored in bulk containers across various industries, these jackets are suitable for frost protection, temperature maintenance, and heat-up processes.
*Thermostats with a 0°C to +40°C range are also available upon request. Please specify thermostat requirements when making an enquiry.
Henry Gallacher supplies IBC1, IBC2, and IBC3 heated IBC insulation jackets. They have a water-resistant nylon outer shell combined with a coated glass cloth inner layer for enhanced chemical and temperature resistance. These jackets feature quick-release, adjustable buckles for straightforward fitting and cover all four sides of the container. IBC1: Includes a single heating circuit, ideal for frost protection. Insulating lids are optional and sold separately. IBC2: Offers dual heating circuits for the top and bottom, allowing rapid heating and independent temperature control via integrated thermostats. Insulating lids are available separately. IBC3: Has three separate heating circuits, providing faster heat-up times and improved temperature control. This model comes with an insulated lid included as standard.
Designed for heating liquid materials in bulk containers across diverse industries.
We also supply hazardous area (EX) heating jackets with ATEX and IECEx Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22 certifications, designed to maintain safe temperatures in potentially explosive environments. Please contact us for further details.
Note: The IBC3-240V model includes an insulating lid as standard. Additional insulating lids and custom sizes are available upon request.
IBC insulating lids are designed to minimise heat loss from the top of exposed IBC units. Featuring a central flap for easy access to the fill cap, these lids eliminate the need to remove the lid completely during filling. By reducing heat loss, they help save energy and lower operational costs.
