Heated IBC Insulation Jackets

Henry Gallacher supplies a range of heated IBC insulation jackets designed for 1000-litre intermediate bulk containers (IBC). These jackets deliver electric surface heating to maintain optimal temperatures, reducing the viscosity of fats, oils, food products, and chemicals stored within.

HIBC-B Heated IBC Insulation Jacket

HIBC/B Heated IBC Insulation Jacket

The HIBC/B heated insulation jackets are crafted from water-resistant, Teflon™ coated polyester and feature a spiral-wound silicone resistance element. Designed for easy installation, they include quick-release adjustable buckles and cover all four sides of the IBC. The jacket has two independent heating circuits for the upper and lower sections, each with its own thermostat, allowing the upper circuit to be switched off when the container level falls below the halfway point. Insulated lids can be supplied separately if required.

Applications

Ideal for heating liquid materials stored in bulk containers across various industries, these jackets are suitable for frost protection, temperature maintenance, and heat-up processes.

Key Features

  • Teflon™ coated polyester with dual heating circuits for upper and lower zones.
  • Thermally insulated for efficient heat retention.
  • Equipped with a 4-metre power cable (without plug).

IBC Insulating Lid

IBC Insulating Attached to an IBC Unit

IBC insulating lids are designed to minimise heat loss from the top of exposed IBC units. Featuring a central flap for easy access to the fill cap, these lids eliminate the need to remove the lid completely during filling. By reducing heat loss, they help save energy and lower operational costs.
