Silicone rubber tubing is manufactured from a high-quality 60° Shore A platinum-cured silicone compound, providing excellent strength, clarity and durability. Platinum-cured silicone offers improved tensile strength, greater bacterial resistance, and better transparency compared with peroxide-cured silicone.
This flexible silicone rubber tubing is odourless, tasteless, and food-safe, making it suitable for hygienic applications. Manufactured from FDA-approved materials and holding WRAS / WRc approval, it is widely used across industries including food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing and general industrial applications.
Supplied as translucent silicone tubing, it is available cut to length or in full 25m coils. It performs reliably in demanding environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +200°C, with short-term resistance up to +250°C.
Applications
Food, medical and pharmaceutical applications. Peristaltic pump use, laboratory and hygienic fluid transfers.
