Stainless Steel Foil Graphite

Stainless steel foil graphite is crafted from expanded graphite foil laminated with one or more layers of thin, flat stainless steel. This material is widely utilised as a gasket solution in demanding high-pressure and high-temperature environments. Henry Gallacher offers this product as part of our comprehensive sealing range.

Temperature range: -200°C to +500°C (intermittent, dry conditions), and up to +650°C (intermittent, steam).
Maximum pressure rating: 140 bar.
Soft and flexible with excellent recovery properties and resistance to ageing.
Impermeable to gases and liquids, chemically inert, radiation resistant, and highly resistant to thermal shock.
Low friction coefficient, stable over time with outstanding residual stress retention.
