Flame Retardant EPDM Rubber Sheeting

EPDM Rubber Sheeting - Flame Retardant

Our flame retardant EPDM rubber sheeting is a halogen-free synthetic elastomer designed to meet the stringent fire safety standards of BS EN 45545-2:2013 + A1:2015 and EN ISO 9239-1. This material is certified for use in railway and metro coach applications, making it ideal for floor coverings and other finished products where fire safety is paramount. It emits low smoke and helps limit flame spread in the event of a fire.

Thanks to its advanced compound formulation, this flame retardant EPDM offers enhanced tensile strength, greater elongation at break, and superior temperature resistance compared to standard EPDM grades. It also delivers excellent durability, improved abrasion resistance, and outstanding protection against ageing, ozone, and weathering.

Available in rolls and custom-cut pieces, this EPDM rubber sheeting can also be fabricated into gaskets using our cutting services. For enquiries about availability and custom sizes, please contact Henry Gallacher directly.
