Neoprene Rubber Sheeting - Flame-Retardant, Anti-Static

Neoprene Rubber Sheeting - Flame Retardant

Flame-retardant neoprene rubber sheeting is produced from a specially formulated compound that meets ISO 340 flame retardancy requirements and BS 490 anti-static standards, with a maximum surface electrical resistance of 3 × 10⁸ Ω. Alongside these enhanced safety properties, it retains all the key performance benefits of standard neoprene grades.

Suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, this material can be supplied by the roll or, if required, precision cut in-house into gaskets to suit your requirements.

Neoprene may also be referred to as chloroprene, polychloroprene, or PC rubber.

Key Features

  • Temperature: -30°C up to +100°C.
  • Shore Hardness: 60° ± 5°.
  • Excellent weathering resistance.
  • Good resistance to ageing and ozone.
  • Additional flame retardant and anti-static properties over standard neoprene grades.

Standards

  • Fully compliant with CE, PAH, RoHS and REACH.
  • Tested to ISO 340 for flammability characteristics of conveyor belting.
  • Conforms to BS 490 for the flammability and anti-static properties of rubber conveyor belting (general use).
