This grade delivers enhanced dimensional stability and durability over acetal homopolymer. It resists hydrolysis and strong alkalis effectively and is non-toxic, making it suitable for food contact applications. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +90°C.
Designed for the food and pharmaceutical sectors, this blue variant shares similar properties with black and natural copolymer rods. Commonly machined into parts for food processing equipment, it meets stringent industry standards. Temperature range from -50°C to +100°C.
Offering superior tensile strength, hardness, rigidity, and creep resistance compared to copolymer grades, this homopolymer rod is FDA approved and widely used for machining gears and friction bearings. Suitable for temperatures up to +110°C.
Incorporating fine additives that can be detected by standard metal scanning devices, this rod is essential in food and pharmaceutical settings to prevent plastic contamination. It shares similar characteristics with black and natural copolymer rods. Temperature range from -30°C to +105°C.
Reinforced with glass fibres, this rod provides greater strength and rigidity than standard acetal rods. It also features improved tensile strength and reduced thermal expansion, making it suitable for automotive and aerospace applications. Temperature range from -20°C to +100°C (short term up to +140°C).
