Extruded profiles and wear strips are made from polyethylene plastic, available in a wide variety of profiles. These plastic extrusions are widely used in conveyor applications. Extruded profiles and wear strips are typically made from Polyethylene PE1000 - UHMW, offering excellent wear resistance and a low coefficient of friction.
Many of these options meet FDA standards for direct food contact. We also supply stainless steel-backed wear strips and a selection of carrier profiles in aluminium and stainless steel.
