B1P3 Phenolic Paper Laminate

B1 Phenolic Paper Laminate
B1P3 phenolic paper laminate is a premium, electrically insulating material made from paper layers bonded with synthetic resins. It offers low moisture absorption and good mechanical strength, though its impact resistance is lower than most paper, cotton, and glass-based laminates. B1P3 is primarily used for high-voltage electrical applications in air or oil.
Our in-house manufacturing capabilities enable us to machine B1P3 into complex, custom components. We process synthetic resin-bonded papers using CNC milling, drilling, sawing, and hot punching. For examples and further details, please visit our machining service page.
B1P3 is manufactured to BS EN 60893 Standard: 3-4-PFCP206.

Applications

B1P3 was developed to meet MOD requirements for Navy DG Ships. It is commonly used where rigid, high-voltage electrical insulation is needed, including terminal boards, tag strips, pipeline insulation, coil formers, and busbar supports..
