White Food Grade Natural Rubber Sheeting

Natural Rubber Sheeting - White Food Quality

White food grade natural rubber sheeting (NR/SBR) delivers enhanced tensile strength, elongation at break, and abrasion resistance compared to typical synthetic rubber grades. Widely used in food and pharmaceutical sectors, it can be fabricated into sleeves for product handling or precision-cut gaskets. This food grade natural rubber resists alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, moderate chemicals, and both wet and dry organic acids, but is unsuitable for strong acids, oils, greases, ozone and most hydrocarbons.

We supply white food grade natural rubber sheeting in rolls or custom-cut pieces to meet exact requirements.

Natural rubber is also known as India rubber.

Key Features

  • Shore Hardness: 60° ± 5°.
  • Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +70°C.
  • Superior elongation at break and tensile strength over standard synthetic rubbers.
  • Good resistance to alcohols, ketones, and organic acids.
  • Suitable for repeated food contact applications.

Standards

  • Complies with regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for materials intended for food contact.
  • Meets US FDA 21 CFR177.2600 standards for rubber articles used repeatedly with food.
