Nitrile Rubber Sheeting

Nitrile Rubber Sheeting

Nitrile rubber sheeting—also referred to as NBR, Buna-N, or Perbunan—is a synthetic elastomer prized for its strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids such as oils, greases, and various hydrocarbons. Its robust chemical resistance and durability make it a preferred material across automotive, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

Standard nitrile delivers solid abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and moderate mechanical performance; however, it is not suitable for exposure to ketones. For applications demanding enhanced technical specifications or compliance with regulatory standards, we provide specialist nitrile grades including:

  • BS 2751 compliant nitrile rubber
  • Blue and white food-grade nitrile meeting FDA and EU standards
  • Blue metal detectable nitrile, ideal for food processing and pharmaceutical sectors

These variants adhere to British and American food safety regulations, ensuring suitability for sensitive environments.

We supply nitrile sheeting in rolls, precision-cut gaskets, or fabricated sleeves tailored to your industrial requirements. As a trusted supplier, Henry Gallacher offers reliable availability and expert support for your sealing needs.
