Quad rings offer an excellent sealing solution when standard O-rings are unsuitable due to pressure extremes. Their distinctive four-lobed profile provides double the sealing surface compared to traditional O-rings, allowing effective sealing with reduced compression. This design minimises friction and extends the lifespan of the seal. Additionally, the Quad ring's shape enhances stability within the gland, preventing spiral twisting and improving resistance to pulsating pressures that can cause O-rings to extrude from their grooves.
We stock Quad rings in all common BS/AS sizes, available in nitrile and Viton®, with a select range offered in EPDM. Additionally, we supply standard quad ring cord sections in nitrile, supporting custom gasket manufacturing and sealing applications.
