Expanded PTFE Sheet

Expanded PTFE sheet is a highly compressible sealing material made from 100% virgin PTFE. Approved for use in food applications, it offers outstanding chemical resistance, making it ideal for sealing in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.

This material is frequently fabricated into gaskets and is particularly suited for use on fragile, worn or damaged flanges due to its low bolt load requirement. It can endure compressive forces exceeding 40,000 psi without compromising its sealing performance.

Key Features

• Temperature range from -240°C to +260°C, with peak temperature up to +315°C.
• Exceptionally soft and compressible, with excellent resistance to a broad spectrum of chemicals.

• Certified to USP class VI, TA Luft VDI 2440, BAM, DIN 28090-1, DVGW, HOBT 1, HOBT 2, Regulation EC 10/2011, ASTM F36 and FDA standards.
