This advanced material is flame-retardant in accordance with ISO 340 for conveyor belting flammability and conforms to the American flammability standard UL94-V0, providing certified fire resistance for applications where ignition risk must be minimised. The compound demonstrates anti-static properties that meet BS 490 requirements, with a maximum surface electrical resistance of 3 × 10⁸ Ω, effectively dissipating static charge accumulation that could otherwise create hazardous conditions in sensitive environments.
Beyond these specialist safety properties, the material retains the key performance characteristics that make standard neoprene a trusted sealing solution. The gaskets offer good resistance to ageing and environmental degradation, maintaining their physical properties through extended service periods. Excellent weathering resistance ensures reliable outdoor performance, whilst the compound demonstrates compatibility with inorganic salts and animal fats commonly encountered in industrial and food processing applications.
