Metallic Gaskets (RTJ Ring Type Joint Gaskets)

Metallic Gasket

Metallic gaskets, also referred to as RTJ Ring Type Joint Gaskets, are robust, high-pressure sealing solutions predominantly utilised in offshore and petrochemical sectors. These gaskets are precision-crafted to complement accurately machined flanges. Our ring joints are produced in compliance with ASME B16.20 standards.

Selection of gasket material depends chiefly on chemical compatibility with the process media and the hardness of the flange. Ideally, the gasket’s hardness should be approximately 30 Brinell lower than that of the flange to allow adequate gasket deformation without harming the flange surface.

Applications

Designed for demanding, high-pressure environments within petrochemical and offshore industries.
