Plastic Sprockets

Plastic sprockets are a practical alternative to metal sprockets for power transmission and roller chain systems. Crafted from cast oil-filled nylon, these sprockets provide numerous advantages, including inherent self-lubrication and a lower coefficient of friction. This combination helps minimise wear on plastic roller chains and reduces operational noise. Additional benefits include enhanced corrosion resistance, superior impact strength, and a lighter weight than metal sprockets. For installations where machinery cannot be disassembled, we offer split sprockets supplied in two halves, allowing assembly around existing equipment without dismantling.

Our plastic sprockets are designed to fit CC600 and CC1400 series case chains as standard. We also offer plastic machining services, enabling us to produce custom sprockets tailored to your specifications.
