Augers and Screw Feeds

Augers and Screw Feeds

Augers and screw feeds facilitate the controlled movement of bulk materials through rotation, typically inside a confined tube. These components are commonly produced from polyethylene PE1000 - UHMW, acetal, or nylon. Compared to metal alternatives, they offer numerous benefits including quieter operation, reduced weight for easier handling, and superior sliding characteristics that minimise product accumulation. Additionally, they are simpler to clean and often more cost-effective. These products may also be referred to as flexible spirals or flexible screws.

To obtain a precise quotation, please provide CAD files, technical drawings, or sketches. Guidance on measuring augers and screw feeds is illustrated in the diagram below.

Applications

Ideal for moving, compacting, dosing, and transferring bulk materials such as flakes, granules, and powders.

Availability

We manufacture augers with either standard or variable pitch, tailored to your specifications. Keyways can be incorporated upon request. All products are made to order. Please supply CAD files, drawings, or sketches to enable an accurate quote. Refer to the diagrams below for measurement instructions.
