Bear Brand Tufnol® is a cotton-fabric-based laminate, expertly designed for use as a lubricated bearing material across various industrial applications.

Applications

This material is ideal for oil and grease-lubricated bearings, slideways, water-lubricated marine bearings, pump sleeve bearings, seal rings, mixer bearings, slipper pads, rolling mill bearings, and guide bushes.

  • Operates effectively up to +120°C, with intermittent use up to +130°C.
  • Offers superior wear resistance and enhanced electrical properties.
  • Exhibits low water absorption.
  • Maintains excellent dimensional stability.

Colour: Natural.
Sheet Size (mm): 1200 x 1200, 1525 x 1200.
Thickness (mm): 1.6 up to 228.4.
Rod Length (mm): 1200 (for 6 up to 100 diameter), 600 (for 110 up to 150 diameter).
Rod Diameter (mm): 6 up to 150.

Please note: Rods are typically machined from sheets rather than moulded. Minimum order quantities may apply. We also offer tubular sections, hexagonal bars, and rectangular bars.
