Viton® rubber sheeting is a premium fluoroelastomer designed to perform reliably in harsh conditions involving high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. It maintains its flexibility and resistance to fluids where other elastomers may degrade or swell. Its strong resistance to acids, oils, and petroleum-based substances makes it a preferred choice for gaskets and seals across automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical processing sectors.
We offer Viton® in two standard grades: Type A and Type B. While both share similar characteristics, Type B contains a higher fluorine content (68.5% versus 66% in Type A), enhancing its fluid resistance, flexibility after heat exposure, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. This makes Type B particularly suited to chemical processing and power generation environments.
Henry Gallacher supplies Viton® rubber sheeting with prompt availability. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Also available: Viton® rubber gaskets.
Please note that the above table is intended as a guide only. For more information regarding the compatibility of silicone rubber sheet with specific chemicals please see our chemical resistance chart.
Please specify Genuine Viton® rubber sheeting when making your enquiry to ensure authenticity.
