Skived PTFE Sheet

PTFE Sheet - Skived

Skived PTFE sheet is crafted from a thin film of virgin polytetrafluoroethylene featuring a self-adhesive silicone backing and a distinctive yellow corrugated liner. This polymer is renowned for its exceptional chemical resistance, very low friction coefficient, and wide temperature tolerance. It performs reliably in high temperature settings up to +260°C and serves effectively as an electrical insulator. Additionally, it is ideal for applications requiring an immediate anti-stick surface.

Applications

Commonly employed for anti-stick linings, bellows, sleeves, connectors, skid ways, electrical insulation, and cable wrapping.

Key Features

  • Operates between -73°C and +260°C.
  • Highly chemically inert, except when exposed to elemental alkali metals, chlorine trifluoride, and elemental fluorine under extreme conditions.
  • Excellent sliding characteristics and dimensional stability.
  • Strong dielectric properties.
  • Robust temperature resistance.
