Blue Food Quality PTFE Sheet

PTFE Sheet - Blue Food Quality

Blue food quality PTFE sheet is renowned for its exceptional chemical resistance and ability to perform across a wide temperature range, from extremely low to very high. This material features a very low coefficient of friction, excellent resistance to corrosion and hydrolysis, and minimal moisture absorption. It carries a UL 94-V0 flammability rating, boasts high dielectric strength, and is FDA approved for direct food contact. However, due to its non-stick surface, it is prone to creep and presents bonding challenges. It is not recommended for use with highly abrasive substances and has limited impact resistance.

The distinctive blue colour makes this PTFE sheet a preferred choice in food and pharmaceutical industries. Henry Gallacher offers precision machining services to tailor this polymer to your exact specifications, whether from drawings or samples. Typical applications include gaskets, slide plates, chemical linings, scrapers, and guides. For further details on our machining capabilities, please visit our plastic machining section.
