Braided Packing - Soft Core

Braided packing with a soft core offers greater flexibility and compressibility than standard braided packing and is available in ceramic and glass fibre variants. The glass fibre type features a glass rope lagging core fully overbraided with glass yarns. The ceramic option features a ceramic lagging core with a complete ceramic yarn overbraid, reinforced with either nickel-chrome wire or glass yarns.

Applications

Ideal for sealing rings, kiln, furnace, and boiler door seals.

Key Features

Temperature: Up to +550°C (glass fibre) and +1260°C (ceramic fibre) base fabric.
