Braided Packing

Braided packing is offered by Henry Gallacher in glass fibre and ceramic options. The glass fibre braided packing is crafted entirely from glass fibre yarns. Ceramic braided packing features ceramic fibre yarns reinforced with either nickel-chrome wire or glass yarns, woven through the braid.

Applications

Ideal for sealing kiln, furnace, boiler, and oven doors.

Key Features

Temperature: Up to +550°C (glass fibre), and up to +1260°C (ceramic fibre).
Note: Ceramic fibre braided packing can be reinforced with glass yarn (rated to +550°C) or wire (rated to +1000°C).
Strong resistance to oils and solvents.
Superior thermal insulation properties.
Lightweight construction.
Stable against chemical exposure.
Non-combustible material.
Resistant to thermal shock.
Excellent corrosion resistance.
Unaffected by bacterial growth.
