Rope Lagging

Rope lagging is available in ceramic or glass fibre. Our glass rope lagging features a blown glass fibre core with a partial overbraid of glass yarns as standard. The ceramic variant consists of a blown ceramic fibre core, partially overbraided with nickel-chrome wire or glass yarn-reinforced ceramic yarns.

Applications

Ideal for use in high-temperature applications, including oven door seals, kiln seals, furnace seals, sealing rings, expansion joint packing on boilers, chimney door seals, heat exchanger seals, and bulbs for tadpole seals.

Key Features

Temperature: Up to +550°C (glass fibre), up to +1260°C (ceramic fibre).
Note: Ceramic fibre products can be produced with either a glass yarn or wire reinforcement. Glass yarn reinforcement (up to +550°C). Wire reinforcement (up to +1000°C).
Lightweight and resilient.
Excellent thermal stability.
Resistant to thermal shock.
