FIREFLY Millboard offers premium non-asbestos, non-ceramic fibre millboard sheets engineered for demanding high temperature environments. This product line includes three distinct grades: FF700, FF800, and FF900, each tailored to specific industrial uses.
Applications
Ideal for thermal insulation tasks such as roll coverings, heat shields, mould seals, gaskets, seals, domestic appliance components, and sacrificial linings. Detailed applications for each grade are outlined below.
FF700: Commonly used for heat shields in molten metal casting, gasketing in household appliances, and sacrificial linings in primary aluminium melting pots.
FF800: Suited for roll coverings on lehr rolls within float and flat glass manufacturing processes.
FF900: Designed for mould seals in the spin casting of metal tubes and valves.
