PET (Ertalyte®) Rod

PET (Ertalyte®) Rod

PET (Ertalyte®) rod is a durable, dimensionally precise engineering plastic known for its outstanding wear resistance and mechanical robustness. Ideal for demanding applications involving heavy loads and significant wear, it also boasts very low moisture uptake and superior chemical resistance, outperforming Nylon against a wider variety of acids. Available in brands such as Ertalyte® and the self-lubricating Ertalyte® TX, both variants machine easily and meet food contact standards.

Applications

Commonly used for friction strips, precision machined parts, bearings, and rollers.
