Polyethylene PE1000 Rod - UHMW

Polyethylene PE1000 rod - UHMW is known for its superior wear resistance and impact strength when compared to HDPE. Key Features

Temperature range for Natural, Black and Green colours: -250°C to +80°C.
Temperature range for Blue colour: -200°C to +80°C (up to +120°C short term).
Outstanding wear resistance.
Simple to machine, fabricate, and weld.
FDA approval applies to natural colour.

Availability

The pigments used in the black and green rods have FDA approval, tested separately from the rod material itself. Therefore, the finished black and green rods cannot be classified as FDA approved, although all individual components meet FDA standards. Please refer to the food contact information below.

Please note: Additional diameters such as 10mm, 12.7mm, 15mm, 250mm, and 300mm can be provided upon request. UHMW electrically conductive polyethylene PE1000 rods are also available to order; please contact us for details.
