FKM Rubber Gaskets - Blue Food Quality

Blue food-grade FKM rubber gaskets are precision-cut from a synthetic elastomer that complies with 21 CFR 177.2600 of the FDA. They offer outstanding thermal stability, good mechanical properties, and excellent resistance to alcohols, fish oils, vegetable oils, and animal fats. These gaskets are widely specified in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications due to their highly identifiable colour, which helps to reduce the risk of product contamination. They are also suitable for sealing applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons, petroleum and chemicals, and perform exceptionally well when exposed to ozone and weathering.

We can also supply white FKM gaskets that comply with the same FDA food contact regulations, or genuine Viton® A gaskets where food approval is not essential to your application.
