Shotblast Rubber Gaskets - Black
Black shotblast rubber gaskets are precision-cut from abrasion-resistant natural rubber, offering excellent durability and wear resistance. These gaskets provide high elasticity, exceptional tensile strength and can operate as an effective seal under low compression set. Black shotblast gaskets also perform well when in contact with some aldehydes, wet or dry organic acids and weak chemicals, though they are not suitable for use with petroleum or lubricating oils.
Shotblast gaskets feature a smooth plate finish on both sides and are commonly specified for abrasive applications requiring a hard-wearing seal. We can also supply abrasion-resistant grades in red, white, or tan para gaskets, where a softer, more compressible material is needed.
