Acrylic and Perspex® Sheet

Acrylic and Perspex® Sheet

Acrylic sheet is a widely used plastic for displays. Henry Gallacher offers a selection of cast, extruded, mirrored, and Perspex® acrylic sheets in various colours, dimensions, and thicknesses.

Acrylic sheets are known for their ease of machining, cutting, drilling, and polishing, and they can be fabricated and formed with relative simplicity. The material also provides excellent UV stability and solid chemical resistance.

For applications requiring a different type, extruded acrylic sheet is available. This thermoplastic features chemical resistance and low water absorption, making it suitable for prototypes, signage, and protective screens.

Genuine Perspex® sheets represent a premium cast acrylic brand, delivering long-lasting weather resistance without colour fading and allowing over 92% visible light transmission. The superior surface finish results from casting against glass, making it ideal where clarity and durability against weather are essential. Compared to other engineering plastics like PETG or Polycarbonate, acrylic has a lower impact resistance.
