prismatic diffuser panels
crafted from polycarbonate (PC) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins. These panels are designed to enhance lighting efficiency in indoor environments by maximising light transmission and minimising glare. Lightweight and straightforward to install, they can be precision-cut in-house to meet your specific size needs. Additionally, these panels conceal ceiling cabling and help reduce draughts in open spaces.
Our polycarbonate panels, ideal for fluorescent lighting, offer up to 89% light transmission and meet the Class 1 flammability standard under BS 476 part 7. Featuring a K12 diagonal female prism matrix on one side and a smooth surface on the other, they are suitable for vacuum forming, moulding, and fabrication.
For LED lighting, we provide PET diffuser panels that comply with BS EN 12464-1. These panels have a P52 crosswire prism surface that effectively reduces glare, are UV stabilised, and allow up to 84% light transmission. They also carry a TP(a) fire rating, ensuring the material self-extinguishes within five seconds after flame removal.
